Terms of service.

1. Who this agreement is with

These terms are between you and Bot Food Corporation, a company incorporated in Canada with offices in Toronto. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Bot Food Corporation, and "the service" means the RaLHF applications, this website, and any related services we offer.

By downloading, installing or using RaLHF you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

2. Eligibility

You may use the service only if you have reached the age of majority where you live and can form a binding contract under the law that applies to you. You may not use the service if you live somewhere that access to it is prohibited, and it is your responsibility to determine whether your use is lawful. If you are using RaLHF on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

3. Your licence to use RaLHF

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use RaLHF. The free version may be used for personal and commercial purposes at no cost, on as many of your own devices as you like.

You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the software, remove copyright notices, or use it to build a competing product. You may not disable or work around licensing or security mechanisms.

4. Your content is yours

You keep all rights to everything in your context library. We claim no ownership of it and acquire no licence to it. We do not use it to train models, ours or anyone else's, and we do not sell or share it.

On the free plan your library never reaches us. If you use Premium sync, you grant us the limited technical permission needed to store and transmit the copy on our servers so we can deliver it to your devices and to the AI services you authorize. That permission ends when you cancel or delete the content.

You are responsible for what you put in your library, and you confirm you have the right to store and use it.

5. What you may not do

• Use the service to store or distribute unlawful material
• Attempt to access another person's library or account
• Interfere with the service, or with other people's use of it
• Use the service in breach of any applicable law or export control

6. Premium subscriptions

Premium is billed monthly in advance at the price shown at the time you subscribe, plus applicable taxes. You may cancel at any time and your subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law.

If you stop paying, your local library continues to work exactly as before. You lose sync, sharing and backup. Nothing local is deleted and nothing is held back from you. The synced copy on our servers is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

We may change prices. Existing subscribers will be told before a change applies to them and can cancel rather than accept it.

7. AI services you connect

RaLHF is designed to hand context to AI services you authorize, such as ChatGPT and Claude. Those services are operated by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they do with the context you send them, and we cannot guarantee they will remain available or compatible.

AI output can be wrong. RaLHF improves the context an AI has to work with, and does not guarantee the accuracy of anything an AI produces. Do not rely on AI output for professional, legal, medical or financial decisions without checking it.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces a feature you are paying for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused portion of the current period.

The free app runs on your device and does not depend on us being online. Premium features depend on our servers and may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

9. Your backups

Your library lives on your device, which means backing up your device backs up your library. Premium backup is a convenience and not a substitute for your own backups. We are not liable for data you lose, so keep copies of anything that matters to you.

10. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will meet your requirements.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to this agreement will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, and where a law of that kind applies, this section applies to the fullest extent that law permits.

12. Ending the agreement

You may stop using RaLHF at any time by uninstalling it, and cancel Premium from your account. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within ten days of us telling you, or immediately where the breach is unlawful.

If we end your access other than for breach, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period. Ending the agreement does not delete the library on your own device.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Any action arising from or relating to these terms may be brought only in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, and both parties submit to that exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this agreement. No claim arising under it may be brought more than one year after it first arises, except where a longer period is required by law. It is the express wish of the parties that this agreement be drawn up in English. C'est la volonté expresse des parties que la présente convention soit rédigée en anglais.

14. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent. We may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.

These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service, and replace any earlier version.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material and you have an account, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
